I continue to update on Leicester's unrest, and the implications of social media.

"Celebrations that took place following the cricket match in August later became disorderly, a police spokesperson said. “An incident was shared on social media stating that a Muslim was being attacked by Hindus. [Fatima Rajina, New Lines Magazine, How India’s Violent Politics Came to Leicester ](https://newlinesmag.com/argument/how-indias-violent-politics-came-to-leicester/) "The disorder exposes a worrying trend, whereby national politics in India have created fault lines in the diaspora. Hindutva, the divisive political ideology endorsed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which advocates for Hindu supremacy – and wants to transform India into an ethno-religious state – has crossed over to Britain."
