This is the fifteenth month since the current Israel-Hamas conflict commenced. I have been keeping copies of selected online content since 7 October 2023.

Some of these posts feature on my X page (@garybunt), and are usually posted there first, along with related materials and extra links (there’s often a time lag between posting on X and posting here!). The intention is to keep a snapshot of these posts (X posts disappear occasionally) and other content. I’m planning to write about these sources in due course.

Palestinian journalists in Gaza continue to report the horrors of Israel's war in deadly conditions. Al Jazeera pays tribute to the horrific number of journalists killed in Gaza, largely to Western indifference www.aljazeera.com/features/lon…

A leading Israeli newspaper, citing unnamed israeli soldiers serving in Gaza, described indiscriminate killings of Palestinian civilians. The lack of IHL compliance and the widespread impunity is of grave international concern as this conflict continues to evolve. www.dawn.com/news/1880050

There are thousands of potential posts, so this is only a snapshot of activities. Warning: many posts contain images of violence and injuries.

This is a compelling report from the BBC:

How Facebook restricted news in Palestinian territories www.bbc.com/news/article…. “One person, who spoke anonymously, shared leaked internal documents about a change made to Instagram's algorithm, which toughened the moderation of Palestinians commenting on Instagram posts.” Important research.
