Islamic State has focused on online propaganda since its inception, including using social media to spread its message, setting it apart from other jihadist groups."
This is an important element of IS propaganda, but shutting down a few accounts will not stop this issue emerging again. It's simply the latest iteration in a long-line of examples of 'IS' utilising social media apps to project their 'authority' and rhetoric to an audience that includes potentially susceptible individuals.
